Java is one of the biggest islands in Indonesia and there is a lot to do there. Here are our top 10 reasons why you should travel to Java.
The first reason why you should travel to Java is the historic sites you will visit during your stay. The history of the island begins with the settlement of Indonesian Kingdoms on the island. With time, merchants from China, India and the Persian Gulf travelled by Java. Later, Indonesia was colonized by Dutch and Portuguese. Yogyakarta International Airport is well connected to the city centre from where you can take a train to East Java to climb Bromo or Ijen volcano. From there you can travel to Bali.
